Acupuncture is form of traditional Chinese medicine that has been practiced for centuries. It is based on the theory that energy, Chi, flows through our bodies in pathways called meridians.
When the energy or the Chi is blocked, illness and pain occur. Acupuncture is a way to unblock or influence the Chi - it can help the Chi to flow and therefore aid the healing process.
